What is Coworking?
The idea is simple: that independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility work better together than they do alone. We like walk-ins
For security our door is locked until the first member arrives after 9:00 each morning and again at 5:00 each evening. Walk-ins are welcome any any time the door is unlocked.

Our location
Located on the third floor of the Chait Galleries building at 218 E. Washington St., across the street from Java House and the Englert Theatre, Busy Coworking is proud to be part of the downtown community. The public transit hub for Iowa City, Coralville and the University of Iowa is just two blocks west at Clinton & Washington and in addition to abundant metered parking three parking ramps are within two blocks, at Linn & Iowa, Linn & Burlington, and Gilbert & Washington.
Busy’s high-ceilinged space is appointed with modern furniture, adorned by art from the Chait collection and filled with light through tall windows that overlook Washington St. Members work at tables that share a single space, not partitioned desks or isolating cubicles. An adjacent room serves as a kitchenette with coffee, snacks, microwave and refrigerator and houses our laser printer/scanner/copier plus members’ storage cubbies.

Busy offers several levels of membership plans to accommodate coworkers who want use of the space only on occasion, a few times a week, or every day—well beyond standard “office hours.”
